I have been immersed in the healing arts for the past 15 years and have been fortunate to create a home for myself in Victoria, B.C I graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2009 as well as the Shiatsu School of Canada in 2005. My other life long passion is astrology and I’ve studied with various teachers over the past 10 years in the realm of Evolutionary and Hellenistic Astrology.
I live in a beautiful oceanside home in Victoria, B.C where we host various retreats and workshops focused around healing, creative expression and personal growth. I have always been drawn serve others, and have found my way there, through merging the realms of earth and sky.
My approach to healing
I believe that healing is an inherently creative and participatory process. I seek to reunite the person with their own body’s innate ability to heal by being actively involved in the healing journey. I offer a blend of hands-on techniques, counselling, astrological guidance, massage, gua sha, cupping, and diet therapy. This innovative, integrated approach helps to relieve pain, cultivate vitality, deepen one's relationship with oneself, and ultimately to manifest one's unique individual potential.
Becoming a healer
My journey to becoming a healer was long and fueled by many synchronicities and an inner calling to be with others in a deep and impactful way. In my mid twenties I travelled through West Africa and dove deep into learning drumming and dance. Upon returning I had a plan to become a performer. Life had other plans for me; I returned home with a host of health complaints, and was drawn to study the ancient system of Eastern medicine to help figure out how to untangle the complex imbalances within me. I began my studies at the Shiatsu School of Canada and was instantly drawn in by the magic of this practice. I remember going into a session one day with extreme cramps, and within moments of centering myself and going into the treatment, my focus shifted and my pain completely dissolved. Shiatsu was the gateway for me and led me to completing the acupuncture program at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria, B.C.
My other lifelong passion is astrology and I’ve studied with various teachers over the past 10 years in the realm of Evolutionary and Hellenistic Astrology. Astrology is a wonderful tool for helping to see the greater picture and can bring huge insights into questions such as: What is my greater purpose? What are my gifts? How do I create my dream life?
